With such a large open plan space, we wanted to ensure that the flow between the kitchen and joined living spaces was seamless. Elements of this truly unique kitchen would need to allow for a seamless transition throughout each separate area. Working alongside the clients interior designer – Gemma Troughton – we created this breathtaking space that boasts a very effective and successful flow through.
Offering all the functionality and aesthetic appeal that a German kitchen promises, this breathtaking kitchen is a showstopper that we are proud to have designed for our clients and their family.
Our clients chose Gaggenau 400 Series ovens which have been designed into an impressive framed bank, amidst wall niches and shelving. The kitchen features integrated fridge, freezer, dishwasher, butler fridge and even a special integrated station for the air fryer – a home for everything.
The kitchen island stands out with a 40mm Corian worktop and the light wood effect breakfast bar creates an airy Scandinavian style colour combination as well as an interesting and functional room shape, perfect for a busy family.
This luxury kitchen design works in tandem with finishes around the rest of the home, encompassing a calm and contemporary feel. An incredible example of how a kitchen can integrate seamlessly into an open plan living space.
Client Brief
Our clients came to us for an individual open plan kitchen design for their home in Lytham.
The property was undergoing a full revamp with the kitchen being situated within the central focal section of the open plan living space.
The space needed to be a functional family kitchen which would also serve as the hub of the home and for entertaining.
