Our personal design consultations are intended to give you time to have our kitchen showroom to yourself, experiencing everything that an ULMO kitchen has to offer. Consultations mean that you have our undivided attention to outline your project requirements, ask any questions and get to know us. In turn we can tell you more about our services to see if our tailored kitchen solutions are the correct fit for your project. Design consultations typically last between 1 and 2 hours.
Together we will compile a design brief based on your thoughts and ideas and when necessary, will give advice and guidance. We want to ensure complete confidence in our ability to design, supply and install your perfect kitchen, so this is also a great opportunity for you to get to ask us questions and get to know us too.
For renovation projects, we will arrange dates for measure up and site surveying or we can work from architectural plans and elevations for build/ extension projects.
Our 4500 sq. foot showroom is split over two floors with nine full kitchen displays, all of which have working appliances from luxury kitchen brands including Gaggenau, Bora and Siemens.
Our Surface Studio is home to a variety of kitchen worktop samples including quartz, ceramic and Corian. Lighting in our studio has been adapted to emulate natural light so you can see the true colour format and detailing in our worktops.
If you are building a new property or extending an existing property, please feel free to bring architectural or building plans to your consultation. If you are looking for a kitchen renovation within an existing space, we’ll arrange to come out to conduct a measure up and site survey of your space at a date and time convenient to yourself.

You don’t need to bring anything with you, however, if you have any architectural or building plans, we always recommend bringing these to your consultation or sending them over to us ahead of your appointment.
We don’t give a costing estimate at the stage of consultation. However, when we move to the design process, we do provide a quotation alongside our designs which details pricing. Our project portfolio is a good place to get an idea of costings of our luxury German kitchens.
We are German kitchen specialists and have a stunning range of kitchens in our Poulton showroom – all fully functional. We do have some shaker style doors available, but we find that most of our clients are looking for the sleek, modernised and minimal design aesthetic that is best associated with German kitchens.
As long or as short as you need it to be! We typically suggest expecting an initial consultation to last around an hour but we can always be flexible to suit your needs.
Yes, our showroom has several private parking spaces right outside the door.
Absolutely, we work alongside industry professionals regularly and are more than happy to speak with both you and your builder, designer or architect about your expectations and visions.
We don’t need you to bring measurements to your consultation but you’re welcome to take your own ahead of your appointment to give us an idea of space. For kitchen renovation projects we will arrange to come out and take an accurate measurement of your space at a time and date convenient to yourself.
If you have architectural or building plans, we can work from these but may come out later to do a check measure for your bespoke design.
