We would expect all site preparation to be completed prior to the installation start date. This including things such as demolition, building works, 1st fix plumbing and electrical work, plastering and tiling.
We are always happy to help clients find local tradesmen and companies who can conduct preparation works. Over the years, we have worked alongside several who we can recommend for initial works.
Yes, all our kitchens are fitted by our skilled installation team. Your bespoke kitchen will be fitted to the highest standards in line with our promise of a kitchen that delivers longevity for years to come.
Installation is part of our service and our team have vast experience in fitting our kitchens. We don’t offer a supply only service.
Installation generally takes 3 to 5 weeks depending on the size of the kitchen. Our installation schedule is generally divided into the following stages:
Delivery: All kitchen furniture will be delivered to site
Cabinet Installation: Island and base cabinets are installed ready for worktop templating
Worktop Template: Worktops will be templated and approved ready for manufacture
Worktop Manufacture: A minimum of 7 working days are needed for stone manufacture, Corian is up to 14 working days.
Worktop Installation: Worktop is installed and the project really starts to take shape!
Stage 2 Cabinet Installation: Any other furniture and elements fitted
2nd Fix Plumbing and Electrical Works: Connection of sinks, lighting, appliances
Finishing: Final details and finishing works
We do our best to estimate timescales as closely and accurately as possible and can provide an intended project schedule ahead of installation.
Yes, we are happy to work with your contractors and can provide full service plans for 1st fix electricals and plumbing where needed.
