Working in partnership with Shard Developments, we have recently completely installation of six stunning kitchens in properties in Stalmine. Having worked with Shard on previous projects, we were first choice for these developers when it came to their newest high-end home development in the countryside. Shard needed high quality, luxury kitchens that would be suited to their impressive executive homes they were in the process of building.

Our brief was to provide luxury kitchens and matching utility rooms that were contemporary and sophisticated and complemented the high-quality design ethos of the entire project. Each kitchen needed to be personalised and custom to the individual property, featuring state of the art, high-tech appliances, modern aesthetics and being able to meet the demands of day-to-day family living. Shard enlisted the help of ULMO to design streamlined kitchen spaces with large multipurpose islands/ peninsulas.

The result is six properties, all with carefully considered layouts which function excellently for family living and are sympathetic to their stunning surroundings. 

Designed as a multi-functional hub of the home, these individually designed open plan kitchen spaces are stunning and practical, each featuring sleek and contemporary doors and cabinetry, natural colour palettes, state of the art appliances and finer detailing typical of a luxury German kitchen.

The island peninsulas provide the perfect spot for cooking, entertaining, working remotely or simply enjoying a drink whilst admiring the countryside views from the bifold doors. Each island has a quartz worktop, flush mounted induction hob with glass downdraft and prep sink with Quooker boiling water tap.

Throughout the kitchens, premium technologies and appliances have been specified, including Gaggenau and Siemens Studioline ovens.

The team at ULMO were careful to consider materials, finishes and colour palettes chosen by Shard in their development to ensure that the rooms were in keeping with each property’s meticulous and impressive interior style.
